man, I opened the box set not too long ago, and that thing is so amazing. I also pried the fugly ball out of the sorcerer's hands. I think I might just try painting it, so I don't have to mess with trimming the peg down and glueing something else into his hands.

when I took the ball off mine the peg broke off with it. then the marble just glued on

I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to trim it down, being as mcfarlane pegs seem to be so damned fragile lately. the peg on the water dragon's foot broke off, which annoyed me. though he stays on his base just fine without it.Originally posted by chaserfan:

I'm still undecided on if I want to paint the ball, or just trim the peg and stick something else in his hands.
Tort, trim the peg !! It's so soft a knife will take it off cleanly. Then just use a nifty looking marble. The sheen on a marble looks so cool.
Nice Tort. I got them all except the Komodo. I gotta make room somewhere for the box set. That I bet will be awesome outta the box. Any pics?
